火柴盒
My vessel draws inspiration from vintage Chinese matchboxes, characterized by their intricate linework and traditional motifs—flowers, birds, and other culturally significant animals. While originally crafted to hold matches, these vessels double as containers for miscellaneous items, such as jewelry, postcards, polaroids, and other delicate trinkets.

The outer box measures 3×6 inches, constructed from ⅛ inch plywood. Unlike conventional matchboxes, my vessel takes on a much larger form to ensure the visibility of my laser-cut design; this decision, however, prolonged the laser-cutting process beyond my initial estimates.
