About Me

Abby Tian is a sophomore at UCLA majoring in Design | Media Arts with a minor in Digital Humanities. Her work explores the intersections of design, social justice, and interaction, delving into themes of sexuality, gender, cultural identity, and family. Abby employs a range of mixed media and techniques, blending traditional drawing and 2D design with digital animation, textile printmaking, and installation art.

Passionate about fostering inclusivity, Abby integrates her expertise in interface and interaction design with her role on UCLA’s School of the Arts and Architecture Dean’s Student Council and her involvement in student media organizations. She is dedicated to promoting representation and enhancing digital accessibility both on and off the screen.

In her free time, Abby enjoys experimenting with foley artistry, traveling, and indulging in her love for horror movies.
