Motion + Animation

Synthesis

This 3D animation, created in Maya, features an abstract chrome structure sculpted to form around a soft, human figure. The sharp, geometric, mech-like design contrasts with the organic fluidity of the human body, exploring the interaction between flesh, skeleton, and skin with rigid mechanical elements like gears, motors, and springs. Through this piece, I examine the tension between organic and artificial forms, highlighting the contrast between the raw spontaneity of human anatomy and the precision of engineered structures.

Zenith

In this project, I shifted from the sculpting-focused approach of my previous work, which emphasized organic forms, to experimenting with Blender’s geometry nodes to create sharp, geometric structures. This technique allowed me to generate intricate, algorithmic designs while expanding my worldbuilding skills. By crafting an immersive sci-fi universe, I explored extraterrestrial structures and entities designed for space navigation.
